Guest Information & Policies




Arrival is any time after 4 p.m. unless prior arrangements have been made. Late arrivals (after 10 p.m.) might not be personally greeted by the host and will need to receive a code in advance of arrival in order to enter the house.


All rooms need to be vacated no later than 11 a.m. If a later check-out is needed, prior approval needs to have been made with the host and 1 p.m. is the latest time of departure.


Minimum Stay  

We ask our guests for a three-night minimum stay. Requests for one or two night stays are only available if the dates occur between existing reservations. An additional fee of $50 per night will be added to the reservation.  


At the time a reservation is made, a 50% deposit is required. The balance is due 60 days before arrival. When the date of arrival is less than 60 days out, the full amount of the stay is processed at the time of booking. We require at least 60 days advance notice of cancellation prior to the arrival date. Cancellation must be made in writing via an email or letter. Guests will receive a full refund of all monies paid provided they've given at least 60 days notice. For cancellations with less than 60 days notice, full refunds will only be provided pending re-booking of the room equal to or in excess of the total reservation amount.     

Shared Common Areas & Hours

Guests may use the pool and lanai for their enjoyment as well as the living room/library. The dining room use is for breakfast only. There is no access or use of the kitchen. Guests are welcome to use the small refrigerator and microwave located in the upstairs snack/beverage area.   


We are not wheel-chair accessible and stair-climbing is required as all of our guest rooms are located on the second floor. 


Off-street parking is located in the property's circular driveway in front of the house. 


We are currently a pet-free house. Guests are not allowed to bring their pets. 


Sojourn Maui is a smoke-free environment. No smoking is allowed inside the house or any where in close proximity to the property. This includes the outdoor common areas that guests share which are the pool, lanai and parking spaces located in front of the house.  

Room Cleaning

We do not clean rooms during a guest's stay. We do provide fresh towels after four days and a second set of linens for stays longer than seven days.   

Pool Usage

Guests are welcome to use the pool and lanai area from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Glass containers are not allowed in or around the pool. Reusable cups are available and provided for your beverages.

Quiet Hours

We ask our guests to be respectful of other guests and our neighbors. Quiet hours are from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
